Ministry Biography

Married in December of 2002, the husband-wife team of Paul and Sherry Burney embarked on a journey to follow God’s mandate to go and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all men and women.  Despite being a new team, the individual members were not new to Gospel music.  Paul began a solo ministry in early 2000 after a two year tenure as baritone with the Glory Road Quartet.  Sherry traveled with her family group, The Blessed, for eight years before joining together with her new husband in ministry.  In addition to their vocal contributions, Paul is an accomplished saxophone player and Sherry has played the piano since the age of 10. 

 

Experiencing a concert with The Burneys will mean experiencing God’s love and presence in a way that you may never have before.  Paul and Sherry minister solely out of love for their fellow man, and most of all, for God.  They believe very strongly in the calling that God has placed on their life, and are determined to see it through, no matter the cost.  “There are a lot of souls that need to be reached, and the time is so short.  We believe that God is searching for willing men and women who will fearlessly proclaim the name of Jesus in these last days, and our hearts’ desire is to do just that.”
